【ヒトコト】
バンドメンバー３人であるMet兄弟、Adam・Jack・Ryanの頭文字を取って「AJR」。
2005年よりバンド活動を始めており、2019年にBillboardミュージックアワードにて「Bang！」でトップロックソングとして選ばれるなど、近年になって徐々に人気を増しているインディポップ系のバンドである。
本曲は政治問題に対して無頓着な若者に対する批判などがちりばめられている。若者の政治離れや問題意識の低下は日本でもよく耳にする。今現在ではアメリカの一番注目されている政治問題は人種差別等の差別意識。
「そんな奴らは俺たちのファンにはいらない」と歌っている。
